Geiza Carrera

I’m Geiza! Born and raised in the west of Puerto Rico.  Music, ocean , Afro-Caribbean culture, and a deep sense of community shaped my spirit. From an early age, I was drawn to exploring the world’s beauty—people, cultures, art, and nature—all through the eyes of a seeker. I became a mom to Gabriela at 21, which opened a new chapter of learning and resilience. After earning my degrees in Education and Industrial Psychology  I worked as a Visual Designer for Abercrombie & Fitch. Then, I was called to homeschool my daughter. Life is better when you create your reality. That small endeavor grew into a community project, and after Hurricane Maria, I founded an alternative holistic high school that served local and international families for six years. So much love and intention was poured into that space.


When the school closed due to Covid, I took the opportunity to travel and explore tantra teachings, sound healing, sacred sexuality, and holistic massage therapy. I’ve always believed that true wellness requires a balance of body, mind, and spirit. My travels eventually brought me to Colorado, where I met Rob—my travel buddy , accomplice, and partner.


And here I am, here we are.

Robert Grevious

I am Rob! I was born and raised in Arvada, Colorado, and have been passionate about health and fitness since childhood. In high school, I discovered weightlifting, which led to my first job in fitness at Better Bodies Cardio and Fitness, where I worked my way up to manager and head trainer. After taking a break, the birth of my son Mason forced  me to launch PrecisionTraining, a private personal training company. Over the years, I expanded my work into PrecisionFit’Cations, leading fitness and yoga retreats across Costa Rica, Belize, Panama, Greece, Italy, Bali, Mexico, and Thailand.


In 2019, I opened The Training Spot in Genesee, a full-service gym offering personal training, massage, yoga, and spin. My collaboration with Rise Yoga & Wellness began when we hosted yoga classes at my facility, sparking a shared vision for community and transformation. Now, this opportunity comes and I’m excited to merge my fitness expertise with Geiza’s holistic wellness approach to create a space that brings health, connection, and personal growth to Golden and beyond.

We met while Geiza was visiting from Puerto Rico . We toured Denver’s Milk Market on our first date , but the second was right here in Golden .

I (Rob) brought Geiza to Golden for all the obvious reasons (the beauty,river,mountain,people). Of course we did a lap up lookout Mountain to see all of Golden on our second date. She lived in Puerto Rico , and I lived here , that was 2019 . Now 6 years later that lookout mountain view means even more to us …. Excited to  continue the Journey with everyone at Rise .
